Job Description

The Area Sales Manager – will be responsible for developing the strategy and managing all aspects of sales management within given territory & target groups.

Strategic relationships with key accounts in Greater China within Environmental Markets (Emission Monitoring Centers) and Scientific Markets Customers (Universities or Institutes) is needed.

This role is based in Shanghai that serves the Greater China Region. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and close work relation with Business Development/Sales Management & Central Marketing as well Headquarters in Germany. Intense travelling is a must.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsiblefor Palas product repair inhouse & onsite as well remotely. Joint force with integrators / individually at field installation and performance tests.

• Establish service concepts within Greater China and our partners, via cooperation with product and marketing team where needed

• Technical expert of Pals product range within Environmental and Industry/Science

• Establish related service documentation and plan application and technical

• Setting up and control own KPI targets and responsible for Service Center Turnover,g. materials and servicesr

• Monitoring the market and competition intelligence through service point of view

• Where applicable, initiate application for China regulated certifications and make guidance of tests

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven results in technical expertise within environmental or scientific (laboratory equipment) markets

• Bachelor degree (chemicals, applied chemicals, electronics& engineering)

• Above 10 years technical products experience

• High English language skills

• Willingness to travel as needed to support product promotion and events, travel to HQ in Germany as required
